SGM FanFair - SGM FanFair Talent Search

Eligibility : Contest is open to independent artists. For the purposes of this contest, an independent artist is defined as a person not affiliated with a major record label. Southern gospel music soloists, duets, trios, quartets and ensembles are eligible to enter.

Entries : All registration entry forms must be accompanied with artist bio and entry fee. Entries must be received by March 1, 2009. The SGM FanFair is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, insufficient postage, stolen or misappropriated entries. Faxes and photocopies not accepted. Entry fees are not refundable.

Judging : Entries will be judged by a panel of professional songwriters, publishers, artists or other professionals within the southern gospel music industry. All contestants will be judged on song selection, music quality, presentation, appearance, performance and overall commercial potential. All decisions by judges will be final. Winners will be announced during the Saturday evening concert.

Prizes : Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. All prizes will be awarded to name on entry form. Division of prizes among multi-person acts is responsibility of winners. Taxes are the responsibility of winners. Void where prohibited. All Federal, State and Local laws and regulations apply.

Indemnity and Release : Signature on entry form constitutes agreement to the SGM FanFair Talent Search Official Rules, and releases The SGM FanFair, staff, sponsors and affiliates from all liability. Entry also constitutes permission to use winner’s name and likeness for future advertising and publicity without compensation.
